Of all the things… writing is what I naturally gravitate towards. That’s a stressful sentence to write… imagine an error in a sentence that says I love to write. I love to just get it out on the page, a messy flowing speed typing kind of day followed by arduous edits… bloody lovely.

I like stand up comedy, and I love it when it goes well (who doesn’t) but where I find my happy place is just me typing on the keyboard.

In my view the best of the best writing time is during the winter in Montana, the snow insulating all the sound, up at 5am with a full hot teapot, and a mini cup, fluffy socks and a dressing gown … a writing ritual, a moment of true joy before the world wakes up. Cosy me, my characters, my comedy, and the sound of typing keys.
