Synopsis
HAPPY TEA is a wildly honest, comedic, and totally unfiltered one-woman storytelling show. Equal parts heart and chaos, it dives headfirst into relationships, the rollercoaster of being a caregiver, and the utter madness of making the multi-award winning documentary ‘Charged’ under... let’s just say, unique circumstances.
But, ultimately, Happy Tea is a feel good show — there’s also the joy of befriending your nipple hairs, the surprising benefit of sleeping in an elk, and the bizarre moments of being egged on by a ghost sperm. And, of course, there’s a few mentions about tea 🤭
Inspiration
From 25 to 35 years old my life was pretty crazy, so much so that a multi-award winning feature length documentary film Charged was made about it.
The documentary is serious… the special is not… it’s my comedic take on real life events what went on during that time which were not featured in the documentary.
I’ve written Happy Tea as a stand alone piece so that no one has to have seen the documentary in order for the show to make sense or for it to be funny 😊
